Does it ever annoy you how some people seemingly worship celebrities and all the tabloid crap?

I mean, granted, they are talented. And yeah, I enjoy movies and TV in my down time, and I like listening to good music while cleaning (although I mostly prefer Mozart and Beethoven). But I know some people who have spent hundreds, even thousands, following around their favorite singer or actor/actress. Going to the same person's concert over and over. Spending their days following the gossip about a certain celebrity male, to the point they have no outside life. It just seems to me that they are regular people like every one here. That's their job. I don't see anyone stalking the mailman, or posting gossip sites about how he snoops through other peoples mail, or reads other people's magazines, or how he's sleeping with Mrs. soandso down the road. He gets to go on about his life. Why do people treat celebrities so different when they are just doing a job!
