FOOD ADDITIVES... do you think it's possible that food additives cause hyperactivity and...?
Unfortunately, science is not full proof and any ONE theory CAN be 'proven' when that's what they want or think the outcome will be. BUT honestly, if this really was the case...don't you think that all children would be hyperactive? Sure some kids may be more sensitive to things- but just because some kids are allergic to nuts should the FDA ban them for causing allergies? Instead of wasting valuable money on such nit picking things...don't you think it would be better spent to HELP those kids who have learning disabilities? As a teacher who has over come Dyscalculia and Dyslexia I can tell you that there is no ONE magic thing that you can say creates a learning ability/ disability. More than likely it's just something hardwired that isn't the same as everyone else...but I think that more people should be educated in what it is and how to help children with it rather than trying to find what they think causes it.
